Gathered Oaks Wedding in Alexandria, Minnesota

Gathered Oaks is a stunning venue located in Alexandria, Minnesota right on a lake! Tess and Cameron got married on a perfect fall day in September!

While Cameron helped the younger groomsmen tie their ties in the grain bins, Tess and her ladies got ready in the cute bridal cottage! They even had their dog there for photos and the ceremony - love that you can have dogs on this property! After the ceremony, a band sang and played from the balcony during cocktail hour - it was so neat and honestly the perfect touch to this outdoor social hour!

During sunset, we snuck out and actually had the couple share their first dance while the sun was setting - it was so pretty. For dinner, a pizza food truck parked outside let all the guests have their choice of pizza for supper and for dessert, there was a yummy spread of Norwegian desserts! The amount of detail that Tess put into her reception decor is incredible - a whole crew of family and friends in the morning helped put it all together for her and complete her vision! Flour and Petal provided the most gorgeous floral arrangements for the day!

It is so awesome to see couples do what they want for their wedding (first dance by themselves, a food truck, and having a band!) AH - I LOVE IT and love these guys’ wedding day! Scroll through to get a recap of their day!
