Kacie and Nolan got married on a very chilly December day - who knew it was possible for there to be no snow in December in Minnesota? The day was filled with the most gorgeous wedding dress, accents of buffalo plaid and a bridal party who was up for anything - including standing in the middle of the road to get a photo.
The day began with Kacie and Nolan's first look that took place at her grandparent's farm which was also the location of their engagement session that took place a few months ago. Portraits were so much fun with these two on their wedding day! Kacie's and Nolan's joy was undeniable!
I must say, there is really nothing like a wedding ceremony that takes place in a church that is decorated for the holidays. Christmas lights and Christmas trees added to the beautifulness of the entire day.
The reception took place at the Hamburg Community Hall. I have been at this location before for family events, but I have never seen it look as wonderful as it did on Kacie and Nolan's wedding day! Did I mention how much I love Christmas lights?! Their family and friends put so much time and effort into making the hall look how Kacie and Nolan envisioned it! Homemade decor created by Nolan himself, his mother, and other friends truly made the hall come alive into a beautiful winter reception hall.
The night ended with a fun dance that a live band played music for as well as grabbing a few photos of everyone having a good time. The last photo you will see in the blog post is a re-creation of a candid photo that was taken of Kacie's grandmother who also got married at the Hamburg Community Hall in 1945.
I hope you all enjoy the preview of Kacie & Nolan's very special wedding day!
